CP100S & Its Use In Modern Hatcheries

The CP100S is a temperature probethat may be used to check the temperature of your hens' or other small animals via the cloaca (rectum). In combination with other technology like the TM99A-E thermometer, you're guaranteed to get the most accurate temperature reading possible.

This temperature probe is perfect for use in modern hatcheries where accuracy and precision are essential. The CP100S can be used to monitor the temperature of individual animals. This allows you to make sure that each animal is healthy and that none are suffering from any sort of illness.

The CP100S is also perfect for use in research facilities. The accurate temperature readings that it provides can be used to study the effects of different temperature changes on animals. This information can then be used to improve the welfare of animals in the future.

If you're looking for a reliable and accurate temperature probe, the CP100S is the perfect choice. Its tough and durable design makes it ideal for use in any environment, and its accuracy and precision make it essential for modern hatcheries.

Made With Animal Safety & Comfort In Mind

Due to its tiny probe tip coated with PVC — which gives it a small, smooth, liquid resistant finish — the CP100S won't cause any discomfort to the animal as long as you use it correctly.

It's also designed to be rugged, so you don't have to worry about it breaking easily. The CP100S can withstand repeated use, making it perfect for use in any hatchery.

Proper Use of the CP100S

In order to get the most accurate reading, it's important to use the CP100S properly. First, make sure that the animal is calm and relaxed before beginning. Next, insert the probe tip into the cloaca (rectum) of the animal, being careful not to insert it too deeply.

Once the probe is in place, turn on the CP100S and wait for the reading to stabilize. The reading will be displayed on the screen. Remove the probe once you have a reading and clean it off before using it again.

What Is the Normal Body Temperature of a Chick?

The average body temperature of a chick is 106°F (41.1°C). However, this can vary slightly depending on the age and breed of the chick. It's important to take accurate readings so that you can ensure that your chicks are healthy and developing properly.

If you're using the CP100S to take readings of newly hatched (day-old) chicks, expect a temperature reading of approximately 103 degrees°F.
