This economic bimetal thermometer represents the maximum value for installations where a higher quantity of instruments may be required, and where temperature accuracy is less critical & there would be no corrosive elements in the environment or process media. This thermometer comes with its own 1/2" NPT brass separable socket that the thermometer simply press fits into place. (See inset below) Typical installations are heating coils, hydronic radiant in-floor systems,outdoor wood furnaces, solar hot water systems, etc.
