AquaTuff™ 35132, 35135 and 35140 Wrap&Stow Thermometers

The AquaTuff™ Model 35100 series with DuraNeedle, Bell Surface, or MicroNeedle Wrap&Stow™ probe is the right choice when accuracy is your top priority. Total System Accuracy™ ensures this instrument and probe combination will measure temperatures within a high accuracy. The probe is calibrated with the instrument to deliver a TRUE ±0.9F° accuracy for the 35132 and 35140 models and requires no additional calibration - ever! The heavy-duty patented probe cable is reinforced with Kevlar® and a metal braid that neatly wraps and stows around the instrument.

The 35132 with the model 55032-N DuraNeedle probe is best for use with dense meats, soft frozen or similar products. It also works well with soft foods and liquids.  It's the most rugged Wrap&Stow™ puncture probe for the  AquaTuff thermometers.

The 35140 with the model 55040-N MicroNeedle probe tip offers the quickest response with minimal impact on the product. Ideal for small products and semi-solid products.  Not recommended for measurement of hard or frozen substances.

The 35135 with the model 55035 Bell Surface probe is best used for taking measurements of any flat surface. The bell self-orients to a surface to give superior contact.  It's ideal for griddles and platens.  With any surface, a small drop of oil or grease is recommended on the surface to aid in heat transfer to the bell sensor.

Temperature Accuracy:  +2.7°F & -6.3°F (+1.5°C & -3.5°C) on draft-free, flat, oiled surface in ambient temperatures between 68° to 86°F (20° to 30°C)
